Ralph Rowe Class Action

The Claims Process for survivors of Ralph Rowe is now open. Survivors who have not yet received compensation have until February 27, 2025 to make a claim.

The settlement includes individuals who were sexually abused by Ralph Rowe between 1975 and 1987 within the geographic boundaries of the Anglican Diocese of Keewatin and have not previously settled or otherwise released claims against the Synod of the Diocese of Keewatin and Scouts Canada, and who were alive as of May 11, 2015.

If you think you may be eligible to make a claim, please read this Notice carefully.

A class action lawsuit regarding sexual abuse perpetrated by Ralph Rowe was previously certified by the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.  A Settlement was reached that has now been approved by the Court. There is money available for Class Members who file a claim and meet the requirements set out in the claims process.

The Long Form Notice explains how to make a claim for compensation from the settlement if you were abused. To make a claim, you need to complete a Claim Form and send it to the Claims Administrator during the claims period. If you do nothing, you will not get any money.

Please read the Long Form Notice carefully or ask for help from someone you trust.
